Migration Bonds

The information papers accessible below have been prepared for the purpose of providing information only to those persons applying for a designated investment (Bond) under the following visas:

  • Investor Retirement Visa – (Sub class 405)
  • Business Investor Visa (Sub class 188) applications from 1 July 2012 for applicants under 55 years of age.
  • Business Investor Visa (Sub class 188) applications from 1 July 2012 for applicants 55 years of age and over.
  • Significant Investor Visa (Sub class 188/888) from 24 November 2012.

all of which are administered by the Department of Immigration and Border Protection (DIBP).

An information paper is solely for the use of a qualifying person applying for the relevant Bond.

The Bonds as designated investments are only available in accordance with, and to those who meet, the requirements of DIBP.

No person is authorised in connection with the information papers to give any information or to make any representation other than those contained in the information papers and, if given or made, such information or representation must not be relied upon as having been authorised by SAFA or the State of South Australia.

Applicants should carefully consider each information paper relevant to the particular Bond, they are seeking to invest in, as each may contain different terms.

General Skilled Migration Bond

This programme is only for those applicants who applied prior to 1 September 2007 and who are instructed by DIAC or the Migration Review Tribunal - Refugee Review Tribunal (MRT-RRT) to invest a minimum amount of $100,000 for at least one year to gain the extra points.

 

Business Investment (188) Bond
