Migration Bonds

The information papers accessible below have been prepared for the purpose of providing information only to those persons applying for a designated investment (Bond) under the following visas;

• Investment Retirement Visa - see Information Paper Retirement; or
• Investment-Linked Migration Visa (Business skills migration sub-classes 131 and 844) - see Information Paper Investment- Linked;

all of which are administered by the Commonwealth Department of Immigration and Citizenship.

An information paper is solely for the use of a qualifying person applying for the relevant Bond.

The Bonds as Designated Investments are only available in accordance with, and to those who meet, the requirements of the Department of Immigration and Citizenship.

No person is authorised in connection with the information papers to give any information or to make any representation other than those contained in the information paper s and, if given or made, such information or representation must not be relied upon as having been authorised by SAFA or the State of South Australia.

Applicants should carefully consider each information paper relevant to the particular Bond, if is seeking to invest in, as each may contain different terms.

Interest rates as at 04-07-2008 applicable for the following maturities are:

* Interest is paid on the 15th of the month, 6 months after your investment is made, and every 6 months thereafter until the maturity date when the final interest payment is made together with the return of principal.

Please note that interest rates applicable to SAFA Bonds are reviewed regularly and subject to change.
