Bond Issues and Funding Announcements

SAFA provides domestic and international investors with access to bonds and other debt instruments issued on behalf of the state of SA and is committed to maintaining valued long-term investor and intermediary relationships.

SAFA issues bonds in order to provide financing to the SA Government sector and all SA government agencies. As the central financing authority for SA, SAFA presently has circa $35b of debt on issuance to fund the state (including liquidity).

We understand the risk profile and goals of our clients and have designed our solutions accordingly. Our experienced team understands risk, designs and manages investment strategies and other activities to help government best identify risks and design mitigants.

Apply for Migration Bonds

The information included in this section is designed to assist people seeking to purchase State Bonds as a designated investment to complete their application to migrate to Australia under the following visas:

  • Investor Retirement Visa – (Sub class 405)
  • Business Investor Visa (Sub class 188) applications from 1 July 2012 for applicants under 55 years of age
  • Business Investor Visa (Sub class 188) applications from 1 July 2012 for applicants 55 years of age and over
  • Significant Investor Visa (Sub class 188/888) from 24 November 2012
